Fill out all relevant information, order specifications, and determine a delivery date. After sending your information in, our private messaging system opens up.

Important: Please decide upon a delivery date that both you, and the seller can agree upon. If our seller is unable to deliver your work by the specified date, you’re entitled to a refund.

3) Make The Commitment

Once you make a purchase via PayPal, we hold onto all funds until the job is completed. Within the messaging system, you can attach files up to 200mb, anything larger than that must be sent through another file delivery service like “WeTransfer”.

4) Receive & Close Out Your order

Once you’re happy with your order and you receive all relevant files, please click the “mark as complete” that’s found in your order tab. This lets us know that the order is done, and our freelancers are paid out faster this way. That's it!

Cover Art

  • Square format in JPG or PNG
  • Dimensions of 1400 x 1400 – 3000 x 3000 pixels
  • Resolution of 300 dpi

Music Files

  • HQ .wav files and other files you request
  • MIDI files (if applicable)
  • 24-32-bit .wav file at 44.1kHz

Each one of our freelancers have different turnaround times.

If you need to have your order by a specific date, make sure to agree upon that specific date.

If our freelancer does not deliver by the date set in place, you will have access to a refund, but only if you do not download any of the files sent to you. Once you download our freelancers work, refunds are usually not accessible. you can read about this more in our Terms & Conditions.

Since the majority of what Melody Nest sells is digital, we normally only offer refunds if there was a problem with the payment transaction, or if our freelancer does not send you their work.

Once the process is complete, the buyer can easily take the already completed work and utilize it.

Typical turnaround time for pre-made cover art is one day, and 3-5 business days for custom work. Each designer will inform you of their expected turnaround time. Please message us to learn more. 

We offer one complimentary minor change to a design. However, any major change to pre-made cover art comes with a fee that our designers put into place. 

It’s important to remember that each designer’s process is different. If you’d like to make changes to a cover art, please message us to learn more before purchasing.

Cover Art:

You do! All designs become exclusively owned by the buyer. However, we may use your design solely for promotional and advertisement related purposes.

Recordings & Audio Editing: 

If our freelancer does not specify in their terms of service that they own a certain % of their supplied work, and they give clearance for commercial use, then you own 100% of the rights. Make sure to check with your session musician, audio engineer, or session vocalist before placing your order for their job requirements.
