I feel honored to get to take part in creating songs. I know that your songs are extremely important, and it’s my goal to help you take them where you want them to go.
I’ve been playing drums in venues, churches, and in the studio since 2007. I’ve been remote tracking drums since 2016 and have recorded drums on hundreds of records for clients all over the world. My drum tracking service is in the top 20 highest rated services on Airgigs out of all the thousands of service listings in all categories.
Artists I’ve played with include Matt Papa (live), The Tuten Brothers (live and studio), MYFEVER (live), The Welcome Home (live), Lane Marie (live and in studio), Andrew Brantley (in studio), Justine Grove (in studio), Andrew Blooms (live), Jacob Mallow (in studio), Son and Thief (live), Zac Seabaugh (live), Grant Cowan (live), Jon Parks (studio), and Oak House (live).
Send me your track in an mp3 file along with any specific directions you have for me: style of playing, intensity, dynamics, drum tones, breaks, specific fills or anything else. If you have scratch or programmed drums, send me one mp3 with them in and one without. The more direction you can provide the better!
Once you send me all this info, I will send you a draft within 3 days and we can discuss what you like and what you would like me to change (if anything). Once you are satisfied, I will send you all 11 individual drum tracks (or more if I used percussion or drum samples). I can send them as wav, mp3, or another file type if you prefer.
Have questions or concerns? Let me know and I’d be happy to answer them!
Thanks for your interest!
I play a Gretsch USA Custom kit, Zildjian and Istanbul cymbals, and a hand full of snares including a Ludwig Supraphonic and a Black Beauty.
I record with an Allen & Heath analog console into two Presonus Firestudio interfaces connected to a Macbook Pro running Logic Pro X (16 preamps for simultaneous tracking). I’ve got industry standard drum mics including AKG C414s, Sennheiser MD421s, KSM32s, SM57s, Beta 52a, and more.
I typically record in 24 bit at 44.1 khz, but can change this if needed. I do not charge you until you are completely satisfied with my performance. I usually don’t need more than 2 revisions, but will give more if needed.
Unless otherwise designated, all work I do through Airgigs is “Work for Hire” meaning I don’t retain any creative writes to my drum tracks or your song once the order is complete. I’d be happy to sign a “Work for Hire” form if that’s needed.
Let me know if you are sending me the final edit of your track, or if you are going to re record or edit the timing. If it’s the final edit then I can play tight to the other instruments, if you are going to retrack, I can play tight to the click.
