I’m a professional session guitarist and bassist based in Bristol, UK with over 15 years of professional studio and touring experience. I offer full guitar/bass arrangements for your songs, professionally recorded in my home studio using state-of-the-art equipment. That includes rhythm and lead parts, with however many tracks your song requires! Every song is unique, so we’ll have a chat and decide the number of tracks, type of tone, and style of playing you require. I’ll then work my magic and you’ll receive multiple high quality tracks/stems in 24 bit WAV or AIFF format, fully edited and ready to place into your project!
I specialise in Rock, Pop, Blues, Funk, Alternative, taking influence from artists such as Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I’m well-versed in music theory and my diverse experience with artists from various genres, ranging from Hip-Hop and Folk to Heavy Metal, allows me to fit in with any style of music that’s thrown at me.
My gear collection includes Fender Stratocasters, Jazzmasters, a Gibson Les Paul, Fender Precision Bass and a Musicman Stingray Bass. Not to mention an extensive pedalboard of world-class modern and vintage effects, perfect for shaping my sound to sit neatly in your song! Amps include a ’65 Fender Deluxe Reverb, Vox AC30 and Roland Jazz Chorus which cover an enormous range of tones from crystal clean to scorching distortion, all lovingly recorded using a large collection of dynamic and condenser microphones into Logic Pro X.
In my career I’ve been lucky enough to work with members of IDLES and Hawkwind, and I’ve picked up many invaluable tips from the leading industry professionals I’ve met along the way. My original songs have received UK radio play on BBC Radio 6 by legendary DJs Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson, and I’ve landed support slots alongside artists such as Stonefield, Cherry Glazerr and Sløtface.
Whatever the genre, if you’re looking for professional guitar or bass tracks, drop me a message and let’s make some music together! I can’t wait to hear your ideas – Jack
