My name is Skyler Taylor, and I’m a Nashville Based Recording and Mixing Engineer. I was fortunate enough to study the craft of Audio Engineering and Production in Muscle Shoals, Alabama at the University of North Alabama. I spent four years working in legendary Muscle Shoals before spending the last four years working in Nashville, Tn. Throughout my career I have had the privilege of working in some of the most world renown studios, with top tier musicians and artists.
Upon booking please send audio files as .wav or .aiff. Make sure that all audio files start and stop at the same place, to insure all tracks are in line. Please provide bit depth and sample rate, key of song, tempo, and reference track.
I am a mixing engineer and I have the capability of mixing any project from my home mix room, or if budget allows I can mix in studio. In my home mix room I mix 100% in the box, but in studio I will mix hybrid (use of analog hardware and digital). I have access to some of the best studios in Nashville to record and mix.
