I will record an alto saxophone part for your track using my SSL 2+ audio interface and a Shure SM57 microphone, either reciting music pre-written by you or improvising over your chord progression if you’d like a saxophone solo.
I work in my own home studio and have a lot of experience in recording, arranging, composing and generally music production. I love to experiment, so I record and compose music from traditional folk to rock, electronic, etc. You can hear the quality of the recordings and mixing in the musical examples.
I can be your session musician, I can do a Celtic style cover, I can compose a melody for you, record various instruments (live and VST) and create a composition and mixing it.
*Important. Before you place an order, please write to me in private messages. Bagpipes and whistles are diatonic instruments, so there are some keys that I can’t play on them.
I will record a solo you have written down (or played as a demo on another instrument) on alto, tenor or baritone saxophone.
I will also improvise a solo, but only if I like the tune and feel I can contribute something personal to it.
“Smooth jazz” is out of the question.
I will write an original horn arrangement for your tune (2 to 5 voices) for saxophones, trumpet, trombone, flute and send you the scores for each instrument as .JPG or .PDF files.
If needed, I will also record the alto, tenor and baritone saxophone parts as needed.
